Moderator:

Prof. Dr. Ammu K Radhakrishnan is a Professor in Immunology at the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences at Monash University Malaysia. Prof. Dr. Ammu obtained her Bachelor of Science (Hons) and Master of Science degrees in Biochemistry from University Malaya and her PhD in Therapeutic Immunology the University of Cambridge, UK. She also undertook two-years of post-doctoral studies after completing her PhD at the University of Oxford, UK. Her main area of research is developing immune-therapeutics to boost host immune system to fight cancer, infections and other immune-related disorders.

 

Panelists for this week:

Dr. Tang Min Moon is a consultant dermatologist in Kuala Lumpur Hospital. She has more than 13 years of experience in the dermatology field. She also had her fellowship training in National Skin Center Singapore and Inselspital, Bern University Hospital, Bern, Switzerland. Her area of special interest are drug allergy, immunobullous disease and contact dermatitis. She is also the appointed member in the Malaysian Adverse Drug Reactions Advisory Committee, National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency, Ministry of Health, Malaysia.

 

Dr. Soo Kok Foong is an Emergency Medicine Physician working in Sungai Buloh Hospital. He has special interest in disaster management and advanced life support in various situations including aquatic life support. He also a facilitator for basic point of care ultrasound and facilitated numerous emergency medicine workshops in district and state level.

 

Dr. Mohammed Faizal Bakhtiar is a Physician Scientist working in Allergy & Immunology
Research Center, Institute for Medical Research which is part of National Institutes of Health Malaysia. He has 11 years of experience in allergy and immunology field. His area of expertise is in drug hypersensitivity. He is also a member of a various international allergy and clinical immunology organizations.

Dr. Low Lee Lee is an Infectious Disease Physician at the Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah. She is the Kedah State Infectious Disease Physician and the chief coordinator of state Infection Control and AMS committee. She is also a committee member of Asia Fungal Working Group (AFWG) under International Society For Human and Animal Mycology.

 

Dr. Ong Tien Lee is a neurologist in Sungai Buloh Hospital. She has 14 years working experience and currently undergoing Neurology subspecialty training since January 2017.
She has been gazetted as a Physician in Internal Medicine in 2016. She also completed her fellowship training in movement disorders in Westmead Hospital in September 2020.

 

Dr. Veena Selvaratnam is a Haematologist working in Ampang Hospital. She is the Head of Clinical Haematology Reference Laboratory, Hospital Ampang, a committee member of the National Haemophilia Registry and Research Technical Working Committee, Ministry of Health, Malaysia. She is also the medical co-chair for World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) 2020 World Congress.

Dr. Rizah Mazzuin Razali is the head of Geriatric Unit and Internal Medicine Physician working in Kuala Lumpur Hospital. She is also an adjunct lecturer in the University Putra Malaysia (UPM) since 2014. Dr Rizah is also a visiting physician to Rumah Baitul Mawaddah, Klang, Lembaga Zakat Selangor.

 

Dr. Richard Lim Boon Leong is a Consultant Palliative Medicine Physician and Head of Palliative Care Unit, Selayang Hospital. He is the National Advisor in palliative medicine for Ministry of Health Malaysia and the chairman for subspecialty fellowship training committee in Palliative Medicine. Dr Richard is a Senior Lecturer and Examiner for Advanced Diploma in Palliative Care nursing Curriculum, MOH.

4. How much does it cost to attend the webinar? How do I register for the webinar?

It is free of charge. No registration required. Just go to one of the six options above on every Wednesday from 3rd of Fed 2021 until 3rd of March 2021 at 3:30 PM Malaysia Time (GMT+8)

 

5. Can I get CPD points from attending this webinar?

Yes, all healthcare professionals and allied health personnel working in Malaysia can get CPD points for attending this webinar. Just fill up the online attendance form during the live webinar, and you will receive a certificate of participation. You will earn 1 CPD point for each webinar session. 

 

6. How to fill up online attendance to obtain my e-Certificate and where to find the link?

The link for online attendance would be broadcasted live on the video and posted on social media during the webinar session. You may find the link for online attendance at the captions of the live video session. However, the attendance form link will expire after the live webinar as the CPD points are only given to those who attend the event live.

When filling the attendance form, remember to fill in all blanks accordingly. Double-check your e-mail before submission because the e-Certificate generated would be sent to the e-mail address provided.

Do contact the administrators if you do not receive your e-Certificate after 2-3 hours of submission of the attendance form.
